Hidden problems cannot be changed. We want to make it “common knowledge” that maternal health inequities exist in Europe by bringing more media coverage and research attention to the issue.

Research and advocacy are important first steps in getting this problem on the public agenda, driving policy change, and funding large-scale intervention programs.
